I see a reread was in order and I am now tracking with you, but in disagreement as always.....

Oh contraire mon frere. ;D

Being that I'm soon to be a C14 rider, I'm curious, just how much faster is the Candy Arabian Red? I'm coming from a Candy Persimmon Red 2000 C10 (fastest colour, btw) and am hoping to keep up the tradition.

How does one describe the difference.........like a bottle of fine wine vs. Mad dog 20/20. Like a Bugatti vs. a Pinto......I could go on and on. ;)

I'm sorry to burst your bubble but the '08s and '09s are the fastest. Later years are speed limited to 154. Too bad, so sad.     ;)

Not only that, but I'm not sure that color can count as red...... :-X

To be honest, when I first saw the Arabian Red, I thought Kawasaki had started buying their paint from Nissan. They use the same colour on the 370Z. I'm hoping to have one of each in the next few years, so it would be nice to have a matching set!

Saw a blue 2010 on I-45 between Dallas and Houston on saturday. And today I saw a Galveston police officer on a C14. Makes me want to move here even more.  ;D

Saw an 08 heading southbound on Rt. 1 near Princeton, NJ. I was on my '00, heading north. We waved. It was good.

So I was in a nearby cycle dealership having my 2008 Connie's TPS changed (under 3 yr GTPP warranty) along with my tires, and with time to kill walking through the showroom, I was shocked to see another BRAND NEW (never sold, 10 miles) 2008 on the floor!   Such a great bike and never sold is amazing to me.  Note the price markdowns the dealer has made.  Disclaimer: I am, in no way affiliated or otherwise connected to this sale. Is it just the deep south where such a bike would remain?  It is sitting right next to a 2011 and was interesting to compare 'the two silver ones'.

Stiil a bit high for the market, even if ABS.  However, it is a lot less than I paid for mine.
