Engine bolt torque numbers. 2011 GTR14
« on: April 18, 2012, 12:54:58 PM »
I got my radiator hose rerouted.  And everthing fits up on the right side..

What are the  torque numbers for the two engine mount  bolts?

So you're doing all this work and don't have a service manual?

Engine mounting nuts - (M12) - 44ft/lbs
Engine mounting bolts - (M10) - 44ft/lbs
Subframe bolts - 17ft/lbs

Now this is from a 2008 service manual and for a 2008 bike but I suspect that nothing has been changed in that area.

Hey, that is pretty good Jim. I thought for sure you were going to tell him to tighten the first one until it broke and the other one just a little bit less....

My favorite is to tighten until it snaps, then back off a quarter turn ;)
