I was over at my local shop at lunch today and new black 11 was being purchased and loaded up! The new owner is a great guy, we chatted for quite awhile and he was already making a farkle list as he was looking at my Connie in detail, (I need one of those, one of those, one of those…)

Here’s some pics I took. I gave him the link to this site so hopefully we’ll see him on here soon enough, maybe even tonight. Welcome!!  :thumbs:   8)

Hopefully he'll be on here soon enough, so we can all welcome a new rider to the fold!


Hey ZG, did you ask him about going out for a ride Saturday?  Weather is supposed to be great!  I'm planning a good one ...  :popcorn:

He came up from Eugene with his wife, very cool dude, he's 71!! I wouldn't have known that had his wife not told me, I would have guessed mid-50's... He's a long time bike junkie, even a Gixxer guy like me...  :thumbs: 8)

Did you tell him to read his owner's manual, page 178?  You know, the warning page about how FAST a BLACK C14 can go vs other LAME colors...   :o

You're right. He didn't get the slower Atomic Silver, the true Silverdammits are Neutron Silver and are the faster bikes. Everyone knows this but some won't admit to it.
