Welcome, Tom. You won't go wrong with getting a Connie. Just don't let anyone fool you into thinking you should get anything other than BLACK!!

I've seen some nice deals down here on used ones, but I'm in Texas. A bit out of the way for you.

Hope to hear from you a lot once you get yours (and while you search for one). Let us all know what you find.

What kinda bullets do vampire slayers use? ;D  Ya have Quick Silver, but I've never seen a movie made about quick black, of fast black, although there was a horse movie named the Black Stallion :-*  Do light reflectors come in black?  Nope, dey be silver, only way ya can catch the rays of light and turn em around :o

Tom, welcome to the nut house and hopefully you'll settle for the fastest color....Quick Silver and not Black.  Also, word of advice here, stay away from that Jay fellow.  He's just too happy for some reason.  Bring a sense of humor with you and you'll do well here.

Welcome Tom!  Good luck in your search for the best (for the money) sport touring bike.  I bet if you are patient, you will find a smokin' deal on a bike.  Good luck and don't let Jay tell you that you need to buy a black bike to fit in with the "cool kids".

Welcome Tom, great folks here "well most of us". :stirpot:  Yes the silver is by far the superior color, and also appears to be cleaner when dirty "ask VirginiaJim". This forum is much more relaxed than the other, and we tend to have fun while trying to help a fellow rider.

Tom welcome aboard...fast black def the way to go!  there are about 4 silvers for (08's I believe), here at my local VA dealer...too far for you though.

Welcome aboard Tom, this is a very good forum unlike a few others out there.  I loved my FJR but those guys are brutal.   A lot of help and good info here.  That 09 was a steal, and the best color too!  Good luck with your quest.
