They aren't "stripped" they are called "tamper resistant".  It is just to bad that even you can't "tamper" with them.   ;D

Sadly, I got my new bolts in to replace these tamper resistant ones, and I can't get the tamper resistant one out.  :banghead:

I wouldnt sneeze at that price, I think ya could do better used, but that is always a gamble.  I liked the comfort of buying new so I payed the price, I did all of my buisness via email, worked the price to an acceptable amount, called them about ten minutes after my daughter enlisted in the Army, I asked if I could pick it up that afternoon, they asked, you mean today?  Yep, I'll be there at 3, check in hand ;D  I am so glad the other dealer didnt want to negotiate on an FJR, he lost more than a sale, he lost my buisness for life, I had only bought 2 bikes from him in the last 2 years.  I wonder how much he has lost in sales since then?  Brothers Powersports in Bremerton, WA BTW.  I suggest avaoiding them, go down the road to Cliffs Cycle, the service manager even rides a 14 ;D
On the color thing, if you get a black one at least ya won't be pulling over to wait on ZG ;D ;D

Make sure to ask them how much the "OTD" (out the door) price is... Sometimes dealers tack on quite a bit to the price they have listed at time of the actual signing...  ???

Welcome!  Color only affects the perception of speed.  Now the Candy Neptune Blue is a Babe Bug magnet.  However, the color was just too enticing, so they could only offer it for one year.   8)

Are you only looking for new, or is used an option?  If you're not concerned about used, then deals will start popping up over the next few months.  If you specifically want new, then that's not a bad price.  I would think with a little haggling, you may get them to lower it a bit.  Also, in the past Kawi has been known to offer discount sales incentives to dealers for left over bikes from prior model years.  Weigh that against how badly you want it, and how concerned you get over someone else swooping in and snagging it out from under you.
