I would like to give the seat a try.  Do you have a photo of it on the bike?  Is it a solo seat taking up the entire rider passenger area?

Yes it takes up most of the rider and passenger area and the cup of the seat sits way back from the tank. the best way I can describe the front of the seat its kinda like a banana seat off an old schwin till you get to the butt cup to the rear. Its actually very comfortable to sit on I just dont like the angle of the bars.

If this has a complete seat pan I will take it. I need a seat to have Baldwin build up as a Two Up seat. Please let me know.

I believe it is complete,  I'll compare it to my other seat when I get home tonight to make sure everything matches up.

Ok ive been PM(ing) RIP50AK about it and he says he wants it and i was accually waiting for payment from him. Now you did chime in before him with "very Interested!" but he chimed in with "i'l take it" first. Now i want to do the right thing here, im not sure how everyone views the "dibs rule" on this site.  Please let me kow how eveyone feels about this, like i said i want to do the right thing with out p!$$'n anyone off.

As an uninvolved party I'd say " I'll take it"  trumps  "very interested".

So, the next time I have additional questions or want to see additional photos, I should go ahead and say "I'll take it" and then when those additional photos and information show that I don't really want it, I back out?

I agree with what you are saying if the original ad is complete in description and photos, and the condition is shown, but in this case this is a one off custom seat.

I passed because I was interested in the seat, not the pan, but then realized it would not work for me.

There is no 'Forum Handbook' on selling etiquette.  There are public posts and then there are PM's to the OP which we don't see.  So we don't see the whole communications trail.  Quite frankly, it's up to the OP to decide to whom he wants to sell said product, which price he sets, and to which order the requests are handled.

It seems I must qualify the previous statement by including a disclaimer that my opinion is based on the visible posts. As Jim said it's up to the op.
