Tellico Plains cabin?
« on: September 29, 2015, 09:18:18 AM »
I'm looking for accommodations for 4 guys who don't really want to sleep in the same bed.

Anyone have some insight?

TIA!

I'll ask my brother.  He lived down there for several years, and played at the Tellico off road park.  May take a few days to get an answer.  He goes off grid quite often.

I've stayed at Caney Creek before, but I would avoid it and would only stay there again if is was a last resort option.

You might check out Hunts Motorcycle campground or Cherohala Mountain Trails Campground. Both have camper cabins (cabins with beds but no running water, you use the bathhouse) if you guys are ok with something like that. If your looking for a nice cabin (house style) for all of you then I'm not any help as I've never looked into something like that when I've been in the area.

VRBO is what I use to find accommodations.  I've only camped in the Tellico  Plains area when doing the dirt Cherohala.
