Hi
I presently own a 98 ZX11 but am looking at (and probably purchasing) a 2008 C14 (non ABS)
I'm sure I'll be here with many questions about this great bike. I was considering a ZX14 and putting bags etc. on it to tour it up a bit but the Concours already does what I want as it is.
I'm going to look at the bike this sunday so wish me luck.

Here are 2 pictures of it. (I'm too new to these bikes to call it a her or Connie, yet)   ::)

Welcome to the entertainment section of the internet. Nice looking C-14. Pre-congratulaions on the purchase. Someone(s) on this forum will be glad to see it is the fastest color. :finger_fing11: :chugbeer:

Hey thanx for the welcome.
I went on a Kawi demo ride 2 day and took out a new C14 in black. First time I ever rode a Concours. Wow !! Power everywhere, smooth, great suspension, corners great.
Didn't like the linked brakes. I use a lot of front brake and I thought I felt the front brake lever modulating or moving ? Am I hallucinating ?
Comfortable. Felt like I could ride it all day. The wife is gonna love it.

There's a lot of chatter about the linked brakes but if you're getting that '08 you don't have to worry about it.
