Of course I'm curious to see what this new beast will be....but I surely don't need a 750 supercharged triple superbike...lol, my Moto-GP days are over for the foreseeable future...lol.

Now, if they create some new twist on the ZX14R, then perhaps some of that technology will overflow into the C14?...Who knows.

A friend of mine bought two of those supercharged Kawi watercraft beasts, and the supercharger failed on one of them almost immediately. He's fixed it already, and it was a relatively easy fix (gear drive failure), but it is apparently a common problem. It may have already been rectified by now,....so we'll see what they do with a new 2 wheeler;).

But, will it make it to the states?  I know Kawasaki has to build faster, stronger, more powerful bikes to garner industry recognition, but how about allowing us to order bikes from the factory with our choice of options and colors?  Now that would be innovative.

Well, the states always gets the big power bikes....with a country full of drag strips, that stuff sells.

You mean I-95 or the Capitol Beltway?

What is that chirping sound in the new video? Makes me think this is going to be a sport bike with an automatic or DCT type transmission.  :-\

From: http://www.motorcyclistonline.com/news/h2-kawasakis-supercharged-ninja-confirmed?src=SOC&dom=fb

"Also interesting is a description of a two-speed supercharger drive gearbox that would allow the charger to operate at different speeds relative to the crankshaft, giving two distinct power curves."

Chirping noise the supercharge drive gearbox?

The noise is probably the waste gate for the excess boost.

Maybe your right but I've never heard a waste gate sound like that.

Sounds like some type of assisted shifting, possibly a new clutchless system.

1000cc 4-cyl supercharged ZX10 sports bike.
That kind of motor could be used in ZX14 /C14 as well as ZX10 and maybe others.
Probably built to comply with Euro4 emissions regs (and the new Californian ones) and with a 2 speed supercharger can probably deliver 60-70Mpg in economy mode and 220Bhp in power mode.
