The B58 Hustler is my all time favorite

Four giant engines with a plane attached!

I concur !

To the fellow who admires the P40, I met Tex Hill out in Midland one year and was able to chat with him a bit and get an autographed print of one of his Tigers.

I did find Tex Hill's autobiography an interesting read because of his life after the Tigers, mainly because he stayed in the Orient to work and fly.

I do like those P-40's!

Looks a bit smallish to me, Charlie.  However, I've put the kettle on and if any of them should stray into our airspace, I'll be ready. ;D

I'm sure it's not proper English tea, but it does do in a pinch.

Where are they based?

And they (Argentina) thought that the British wouldn't respond to this?  They're quite lucky that the British didn't go inland and attack them directly.  I can't watch this video and drink.  It just angers me to no end.  They're lucky they weren't nuked.  That's the LeMay in me speaking of course.

I can remember when I heard the Royal Ghurkas were coming that I thought...well they're (Argentinians) in for it now....and so they were.   Goodness, I'm tearing up now thinking about it.  I'm just so sentimental about such things.

Berlin airlift and the B-36

AIR FORCE STORY, THE -- COLD WAR, 1948-1950

My dad was a crew chief on the C-54 Command Aircraft (Upper Heyford) and the RB-36 (Ellsworth AFB).  There is also a reference to Westover AFB (transport base at the time), soon to become home for the 99th BW and the largest SAC base in the world.

Cool! I've bought a lot of stuff at Sporty's over the years. I've always wanted to fly in there.
