This season really was dominated by Honda, I'm thinking Rossi really wonders why he did what he did.  They are still a coupla years from having a competitive bike.  With the pending rule changes for next year we should see some real racing, similar to what we see in the 250 class.

All I ask to you Honda haters: just don't knock the XR650R!  I love that thing!  ;D

Kawi had a bike kind of like your XR, but a bit more "streeted" called the KLX650.  The color schemes that Kawasaki chose made it one of the ugliest bikes ever sold--right up there with the Honda VTR250.  Red plastics & tank with a purple frame or black with a teal frame.

Dump 1k on the HRC ;D  Or buy a KLR, add a Q4 FMF, and .22 cents!  Kawi rules :cannon: :cannon: :cannon:

Oh, if I get another XR, I'll dump a LOT into that thing!  I'll have a KLR to go along with it.   ;D

That's when I'm older though.  The XR is a friggen rocket.  I'd know, I've been riding it as my main dirtbike  since I was 15 (rode it a couple times when I was 13 and 14)...  But the KLR would be a nice addition.
Easy now my friend I'm a HONDA lover!  Thats why I posted this thread.  Plus I have one in the stable too, it keeps my Kawi reliable, that and KiPass

Oh, I know it!  Remember that thread all about your XR650?  Yeah.  I liked that.    ;D

Can't wait for it!  I'm jittering just thinking about it!

Yeah, I've seen it.  It's like an ugly XR650L.  Don't care for the L as an off road bike, nor do I care for the KLX650 for an off roader.  Honda has their own "streeter version" of the XR650R.  It's called the "Honda XR650L."  Funny how that works.  If I wanted an XR650L I'd have one.  But I have the R for a reason.  It's not trying to be a dual sport.  It's just a dirtbike.

But, that's beside the point:
Did I ask your opinion?  No.  I didn't.  I'm on here because I like the people and I know a few of them.  I've been to COG nationals and I make parts for the C-10 and C-14.  "How?" You may ask.  My father is the guy that's developed and designed all KB products, some of which went under the name of "Murph's" such as "Murph's bar ends" and "Highway pegs."  I worked my ass off in his machine shop to buy my first dirtbike, a 1998 XR100R when I was 9.  I've been around this group of guys for over half my life.  (Dad joined COG when I was 8, Obviously, I was introduced to them.)

And I'm pretty sure that most if the guys on here think it's nice that a 17 year old (15 when I got on here) can have the balls to post on a forum dominated by the 35-55 year old age bracket and never have to get corrected of his ways.  Get off my ass.

I really couldn't give a rat's fuzzy  little ass about your opinions anymore.  And I'm less than 1/2 your age.  And again, on this thread I will not reply to you again AZ "Biker."  I appreciate your invitation to advrider.com, but I prefer the guys here.  Most of the guys here are pretty stellar.  Funny how you got here, isn't it?   ???

Had a Honda once, found the best way to slow it down was to wait for parts on back-order.

I currently have 2 Honda ATV's. An 01 and an 02. All I do is change the oil, they just work. Also had 2 Honda bikes, both cruisers, a VTX and a Valkyrie. Again, change the oil and they just work. I'm on the C14 because I wanted to move to an ST bike and the Honda ST1300 was just too old. But I still think Honda rocks!

OH GOD, KiPASS...

If you're out there, Honda, please, don't make a HiPASS.  Thank you.   :)
