You guys don't love me anymore? I have extended forks, 21 inch narrow front tire, Ape hanger handlebars, and my back tire is a dunlop Whitewall. I have tassles on my grips AND on my levers. I have highway pegs that have chromed pointed pieces shaped like a .50 cal anti aircraft cartridge. Oh, and I have a stuffed bear with googles and a little leather jacket tied to the back of the sissy bar.
Opps, thats not my bike, thats the neighbors dyna Glide parked on my side of the drive while he washes his jeep. I knew something didn't look right.....

Sorry, but I love highway pegs. When doing 700 mile + days, I just got to be able to move my legs.

Oh man you guys are harsh. Again my drivers backrest with highway pegs feel pretty good after 500 miles or so. After all the other half of the category is tourer.

I was on my R1 and asked my new friend where to buy real stretch kits for motorcycles. Swing arm bling just isn't enough.

I usually have a cup holder on my Connie for longer trips, and am proud of it.
It saves some space in my bags/trunk for other things...
And I had highway pegs as well (thanks Millerized!), but one of them broke in a spill... and I haven't welded it back together yet.
This bike can tour, baby!

I'm pretty open to you doing what you want to your bike, but some things make me wonder more than others. I can see trying to make an ST either more sporty or more toury(?) or both. But trying to turn one into a cruiser or adventure bike or DP, just makes me scratch my head.
And let's not have anybody ragging on mascots. I don't have a teddy bear on any of my bikes, but I still think mascots are cool.

For a sport tourer, I think any trunk is a bad idea. Places weight high and behind the rear axle, unweighting the front wheel and screwing with aerodynamics.
To stir the pot a bit, floorboards and a heel-toe shifter.

Hey, being seen is a huge part of being on a sport tourer. People behind me definitely notice the running lights on my trunk, which kindly point them to either side of me...

Plus, it has a spoiler too. Sport vehicles almost always look better with spoilers!

I've seen that pic without the sparks several times. Also, sparks are spewing the wrong way to be coming from the rear wheel. Then again, rubber shouldn't really spark, ya think??

I agree with the spark direction, butt, ....but, if this guy regularly rides with her on the back, he may have installed a studded rear tire for added traction, which, in this case, will spark. She seems like a nice girl, give her credit for getting out and riding.

My mascot... this is 2nd generation, anyway. The 1st gen had ~21k miles on the back of my ST1300 and Wing... then sadly had a flying dismount on I-25... I kept having nightmares of him landing face first on some old ladies windshield, causing her to have a heart attack. :o
Much better than Gremlin Bells... he likes to drink Mello Yello, and rides to Moonshine.

Not at all... with all that weight in the back, the bike is rolling down hill backwards, and the tires are worn to the steel cords.

This is a big FL flower called "Birds in Paradise". I had a polarizer on my lens for color and had to take a pic as i walked by.

Thanks. I looked at the quotes and I still don't get it. It's a movie I wouldn't have watched and in looking at the quotes.....glad I didn't. I can think of better things to do like drinking.
