Picked up this wounded warrior and going to see if I can bring it back to life. it's got 76k on the clock.Lowers were a bit banged up, so will likely put it back together with just the upper fairing. That will all be worked out after I see if I can revive it. Overall, the bike was kept very well. it is pretty clean even under the plastics. a couple standing drops caused problems. fortunately, the upper fairing around the mirrors was still in tact on both sides.
I still have to pull the rear end before I drop the motor. from initial testing, it appears number 2 is bad. I have a donor motor to pull parts from.

You may need to pull the motor for other reasons, but just in case it was only for the hydrolock damage, FYI: you do not need to remove the motor to replace the #2 or #3 conrod.

pulled off the rear end and dropped the motor last night. pretty much ready to begin the open heart surgery....
