Title: Ride report - Smallest Post Office in USA
Post by: stevewfl on January 01, 2014, 10:06:18 PM
Riding through the Everglades I thought it would be neat to have a pic of a Panther eating Teressa on my bike.  I set up and waited and waited and waited but it didn't happen.  Took a pic anyway  ;D

Yeah, I've seen those 'fibbing' signs before. One told me to brake for a moose that never showed up. ;D

Call me stupid but how are you taking pictures of yourself? do you have somebody riding pillion or using a timer or what? I'm asking because I want to start documenting my solo trips.

Thats not a stupid question at all and welcome to the forum.  On this trip I had Teressa working the camera a bit.  On solo trips, I carry a small cheap tripod for my camera or for my cell phone camera, and use the timer function on the camera or phone.  For directions how to do that, the google has us covered (http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j180/stevewfl/bigthumb.gif)

***even without a tripod with me if a pic seems worth it I'll figure out a way prop the camera =)
