Heat or Mavericks?
« on: June 02, 2011, 06:34:57 PM »
So who's gonna win the whole enchilada?

I'm "hoping" for the Mavs, but Miami is definately stacked with talent...

Oh and by the way I like DWade but just can't stand Lebron.

I hope Dallas wins but it will be tough. Dirk should have been MVP this year, he is Larry Bird X10.

I am rather ambivalent as to who wins. I don't want the Heat to win because of the way Lebron treated Cleveland with his leaving. I also don't want the Mavs to win solely because of Mark Cuban. That being said, I am leaning towards the Mavs.

When I saw the title of this thread, I wondered "Don't they make heat seeking Mavericks!"  Then I realized this was a BB thread, not a military hardware thread.

They do have IR Mavericks.  I'd not recommend them for use in basketball, however...

Guess I should follow sports more, and read about cool military jets less...

Has regular season started?

Cleveland had it coming.  LJ wanted what every other player wants, a ring.  Cleveland wasnt going to do what needed to be done to go all the way.  I kinda liked the way he told them to stuff it.  But not as happy as when the Sonics left Seattle.  Basketfoul lost me the day MJ retired after his last foul won the game.  And that shaq creature?  What's his shot percentage when he doesnt touch the rim?

Anyway.  Heat will win.

Great come back. A win like that has to hurt the Heat's psych. Mavs all the way.

Go Mavs, Lebron is my neighbor, he's been a good neighbor but the way he left was childish and disrespectful. The reason Cleveland couldn't get the big name free agents was that Leroy wouldn't sign a long term deal.  He was a kid and did a lot of growing up in Cleveland.  He couldn't get it done here and those are his demons, he laid down last year in game 5 against the Celtics because he had already planned on leaving.  He also waited until ALL the big name free agents had been picked up before he made "the decision" which dismantled the Cavs.  The owner of the Cavs has his **** together, we'll be back VERY soon, and Leroy well, his legacy will never be what he thinks.

If it weren't for Cuban I would easily pull for the allas Mavs. I guess I am still pulling for them, but just isn't like it would be without Cuban,

I have always been a fan of D Wade, but Lebron is just an arrogant pompus ashole...................Jordan/Johnson he is not and never will be! Go Mavericks, Dirk is the friggin man and Kidd deserves a title!

Yeah, I agree.  Without Cuban, there'd be a team other than the Mavs representing the Western Conference, thanks.

GO MAVS!
