Title: Working the corners at the Superbike Races at Laguna Secca
Post by: Slvrvalk1 on July 18, 2015, 12:26:10 PM
I am not sure if this has been posted lately, but you can sign up to work the corners as a flagman or other duty at the FIM Superbike Races at Laguna Secca. Of course it is too late for this year as the races are this weekend. I did it a few years ago when the MotoGP was still at the track. We got free camping and got paid $200 for the work. I was a flagman assistant at the corkscrew, turn #8. It was a blast seeing Rossi and Lornezo et. al. going around the corners.

You sign up through the U.S. Auto Race Marshalls (www.usarm.org (http://www.usarm.org)) web site. You have to join the organization for one year, but the fee is minimal.
