STUCK WINDSCREEN SERVICES
« on: March 30, 2020, 07:27:41 PM »
This was supplied as a helpful Vid, by a forum member..(robertv) thank you to him for sure...and seems a beneficial help.....

if this occurrs, please watch, and experiment with the removal, and cleaning of the slide rails.. also note the complete assembly can be removed, without "removing all the bolts" shown in the first vid and going to the "main bracket, and assmbly bolts" to remove, so you can further work on it safely on the bench, with less chances of dropping bolts and parts, into the fairing.. all in all, these vids show the fact the rails, and crud buildup, are the problem moreso than the actual motor..

watch the re assembly sequence FIRST; it will give you the reasoning, and what really it takes to pull the assembly out in a simpler manner
