C10 wheel interchange
« on: March 24, 2016, 05:52:26 PM »
Is there a list of wheels that will fit on an 86 connie from later models.  I am looking at a set from a 2001 model.
Most important, will the discs interchange too.

thanks

Sorry that wheel does not work. Wheel bearing size is way different as well as disc size and spacing...

You can use anything up to a '93 I believe - without severe modifications and additional parts.  The rear I think would be all years.

That is correct the rear from all years C10 would/will fit without issue as will many other rear wheels as Kawasaki used the same wheel spline and axle size for quite some time. Only cravat would be the bolt pattern and location from CL of the brake disc mounting boss. While much too wide even the new Concours C14 rear wheel has the same size bearing and drive spline....

As to the front the 86 to 93 used the same wheel and from 94 on it was different... The below listed bikes all least used the same wheel bearings so you can look through them for possible candidates to being grafted in the old forks.
