toying with some V-rods and V-rod Muscles.
« on: June 08, 2012, 04:33:55 PM »
So. I'm cruising down HWY 169 from Mooringsport, La. to Lakeshore drive thas afternoon and came up on 2 Harley guys and a guy on a SV650, weaving around and gassing it behind some old lady in a Chevy Celebrity. After a half mile or so they decide to pass, They romp on it and go around,  I get on it and run right up on them real quick and have to stab the brakes hard not to take them out as the passing lane has ended. I follow them for several miles, dropping back then running through the corners and right up on their butts. They act like they have never seen anything like it in their lives. Finally we turn onto a long straight road. I ease over on into the left lane and put the hammer down. I run right past harley guys and finally the SV650 like he is sitting still as I hit 160mph. I let off and rip through the next few corners with a figure 8 pucker factor...no bikes in the rear views.
2 miles down the road I pull into a city park and get out to take a pee. I come out of the bathroom and there are the Harley guys and SV guy standing there looking at my ride. Collectively they ask, WTF do you have in that thing?
I say.....It's stock. They laugh and call me a liar.
I say, OK it has a 441 cui LS7 based engine and I could have passed you guys at any time.
I was in my Trailblazer SS

Pics of the beast (mainly the engine)?
Keeping the economy going, one tank of fuel and two tires at a time.

The great thing about it, is you cant thell the difference between the stock LS2 and any LSX motor. I even have the stock cover mounted on the Wilson intake.   8)
