I finally got my 'free' '95 Ducati 900ss running the other day.  I say "free" tongue and cheek because I am probably $1800 into this free bike already, and I haven't done anything major.  It's a long way from being done, but I had to ride it around a bit.  But I am thoroughly smitten.  It's got at best half the HP of the C14, but it's like a svelte feline in comparison.  And, my god, the sound that bike makes!  I rode no more than 2 miles, and had a fecal eating grin ear to ear.  But I know, today I smile, tomorrow I curse.
