« on: October 21, 2012, 09:49:20 PM »
Two questions:

1. What the heck is in this stuff that one drop turns black plastic white?

2. Can I use it on my shorts instead of bleach?

Brake fluid ruining plastic bits and painted surfaces is nothing new.  It's main ingredient is glycol ether (DOT 3/4)

DOT 5 is silicone based.  Not sure if that has the same corrosive properties on plastic and paint.

Question 2:  No.
