I always dressed warm when I rode my Harley  :(

Maybe Deziner was smart enough to wear appropriate clothing for the conditions when he was a teen?

Dude! I know more than a few Harley riders that are EXACTLY the way you depict them. Leather jacket, chaps, and looking like Billy Badazz. 50 miles later shaking like a dog trying to pass a peach seed. I find my Gerbing jacket and pants to be stylish as hell. And warm too......  :chugbeer:

I used to ride with a group in Colorado, a couple of FJR's, a Victory and an Ultra Classic. I think the guy on the Ultra Classic was by far the most comfortable with a full suit in the winter.

To be fair, it did take 3 hours to go that 50 miles due to mechanical malfunctions  ::)

Maybe Deziner was smart enough to wear appropriate clothing for the conditions when he was a teen?

And now he has a Concours, so that truly makes him a pretty smart guy.

I carry Sorrel snowmobile boots, insulated coveralls and a parka in the back seat of my commute car(s) all winter. And some tools. You just never know, and, yes, I've had to use them a couple of times. Once due to my own mechanical/fuel issue and other times to assist others. Even a relatively simple tire change situation turns into a dangerous condition when its sub-zero and windy.
Try to be prepared for the unexpected. There are lots of places up here where you could be on your own for too long not to be.
This street bike thing is all new to me.
Snowmobiles-I have a bunch of those.

Just spent the past week riding in South Florida and the Keys.  Nice and warm.  Started off the new year by putting 1000 miles on the Versys.

Nice. What tank bag is that?

Kawasaki tank bag.  Custom fit to the Versys tank.  It is expanded in the photo.  The only downside is that it does not come with a rain cover so everything inside is in waterproof bags.  Of course, ALL of my luggage is in waterproof bags.  Learned to do that when travelling with soft luggage and it helps keep things organized.

They make the tank bag for several models including the Concours.

14" of snow fell overnight here and we have a winter storm warning till 2 this afternoon. At 2 the winter storm warning is being replaced by a blizzard warning with 45mph winds predicted.  :o

Yeah baby!    :)

Finally some snow to get the snowmobiles out to play in!
