What is the average time that everyone is up and ready to ride?
I only live 45 minutes from there and the roads in the area are excellent. I will probably ride over early Saturday morning and meet up with everyone to ride for the day and head home that night.
-
There are no organized rides. Riders mostly leave the campsite individuly or in small groups between 8 and 9:30 AM. In my opinon,
you will miss the the whole Spider experence by just showing up for a few minutes. But hey, come anyway.

My wife and I love that restaurant. Super nice people and the food was way above the bar for Missouri.

Looks like perfect weather for this coming weekend. Looking forward to riding down there since the weather was so nasty this weekend.

Getting the bikes packed up tonight and leaving in the am on Thur. I say "bikes" because I finally talked my father into riding one of my C-10's. This is going to be interesting. Twenty plus years on a GoldWing road sofa; he is going to feel like a roughed up turd by the time we get there. Oh what a good time he will have (I hope) . It's going to be quite a change to go from tearing up floor boards to tearing up the twisties. If he enjoys himself I am willing to bet he gets a C-10 to leave in Az withina year. Make him feel welcome

2011 Spider is all set to go. Looks like there will be 40+ attendee's. I'll be on site about 10:00AM tomorrow. (thurs)
See ya there,

Beautiful campground, friendly motorcycle enthusiasts and awesome roads made for a great day of riding. I will do my best to make it for the whole she-bang next year. JimmyMac and I rode 32,19, KK, A, Y, and tons of other great roads.
-
Thanks for the coffee and smiles, Guys. 8)
I'll make this ride next year as well.

A huge thanks to you Tony. A great job as always.
I had a wonderful time. The roads were awesome. I almost had cords showing on the rear of my 86 by the time I got home. I rode the snot of that old girl.
DD and C were my favorite roads.

Did anyone else ride Y south of 19 to Viburnum, or A that runs west from Bunker? Neither were smooth as glass but they were still a blast. Y was just a "bit" greasy from the moisture and there were a couple butt puckering moments. I definitely had fun riding those roads that I hadn't been on before, even though I am down in that area about twice a month riding.
Just glad I'm not on here reading about a dump truck running anyone over on KK, I couldn't believe how fast those trucks fly on that road. Fast sweepers and very little traffic made that one of my highlights of the day.
-
KK was built by the lead mine I think. The trucks have dominion on that road. As good as it is for bikes the trucks have no mercy.
-
Yup we rode on Y, nice road. No kiding about the trucks on KK, if they get those rigs moving any faster I do believe they would be drifting the corners.

I had a blast with you, Jeremy. We'll destroy that road again soon. 8)

Same to you, maybe next time I won't play chicken with a 20 ton dump truck. :-X

Great Rally, with a great group of riders. Thanks to Tony K and his group of helpers for their efforts in making this an outstanding event. I caught this rally this year on the last weekend of a 5 week 13,000+ mile ride to the west. The Spider Ride was one of the highlights of the trip, it seems to always get better and better.
