Title: D'oh! At the fishmongers 900 miles into a 1600 mile trip.

Short version - I was skittish about gravel after spending some time in the sandy soil in the UP of Michigan, so I tried to be clever while parking in gravel. Sometimes trying to be clever is just dumb. The fishmonger helped me lift it back up and just a couple minor dings involved.

Very enjoying read.  Sounds like you had a great time!  I've rode almost that far for biscuits - just in a more direct route.
