Mid Ohio AMA Races
« on: July 15, 2013, 05:48:07 AM »
Anyone else attend the AMA Superbike races at Mid Ohio this past weekend. I did I don't think I'll be going back. It had been a couple of years since I had attended and  I thought then that the facility had really started to go down hill. Well its really gone to hell now. The place is filthy and you would think that at a big national event where over 90% of the spectators sit in the grass that they would at least CUT THE FREAKING GRASS!!! Somebody needs to take a trip to Barber to see how it should be done. Oh yeah, and AMA superbike racing sucks.
Wind in my hair
Shifting and drifting
Mechanical music
Adrenaline surge...

If Daytona Motorsports Group still owns AMA Racing be glad we still have road courses.  I'm surprised they don't push for circle track asphalt racing.  Seeing the AMA races @ Daytona, I must admit, is on my bucket list to things to do.  Then ride to Key West.  Rick
