Russell seat for two, modified rear pegs (forward and downward), CB Euro to stop the head buffeting, backrest on the Shad46.  Oh, and Sena SMH10 so she only has to tell me to slow down instead of hitting me in the head.

Sounds like the buffeting wasn't caused by the wind.  Time to take the Cee Bailey back...   ;)

My best investment?

Me.

It sounds conceded, but without the choices I made that kept me from riding for extended periods of time, I'd never been able to afford even the cheapest of bikes, nevermind the bikes I'm riding now.

And, after that, the various rider courses I've taken have helped me take my confidence in my bikes and myself to another level.

It's a tough life, if you don't know how to live it.

My best investment for riding was the purchase of a 2002 Kawasaki Concours motorcycle. Anything else only added to the equation.

+1 (2000 Concours). Much cheaper than a shrink. Next is Avon Tyres.

I forgot to add my Motax air deflectors. I just love those things. Now that the weather is turning cooler I just put them back on over the weekend. They move the air stream just above my hands and allow me to wear thinner gloves and still have warm hands.
