Well......I've put this ride attempt off for waaaay too long.....
Planning stages are in the works to do an
in-state SS1000+ for late spring 2014,
depending on the weather conditions, ie; 2-3 hr. ride in the rain~not bad....15-16 hr.ride in the rain...NO WAY!.
The route will resemble a 5 pointed star on the major highways in the lower peninsula(
sans road constriction 
).
Anyone else up for a little day trip
