Before the C-14 with hard bags, I spent 14 years running RKA.  Best soft luggage ever. Still use one of thier tank bags and a rear/seat bag. Will be getting liners for my hard bags from them, too.

I use a Field Sheer roll style bag that can be integrated into a soft side bag set.  I picked it because it was a great price at newenough.com (now motorcyclegear.com)  Price wasn't the ONLY thing, it had some nice features.  It has worked out very well.

I use it primarily on the GPZ, with and without the bags.  It also fits nicely on top of my C10's trunk for added capacity.  It would also work on the back of the seat or on a luggage rack.

Only pic I have is of it with rain cover on:

Here's a link to the bags:

Here's a link to the roll tail bag - pic shown is not expanded, it can 'grow'.

Wolfman Beta. Best tail bag I've ever had experience with. The bag is shaped in a bit of an upside down 'U', so that it nests over the seat with extra room to either side. Three straps, one to each passenger peg and one under the tail. Easy, peasy attach/detach. On Connie, good to significantly excessive speeds. Same on a Speed Triple -- with a lot more wind.

+2 on RKA equipment, really top notch. Made in USA too ;)

I can stuff most everything I need in the saddlebags, but carry my tent "double bagged' in a 'gym' bag bungied to the rear rack. In a pinch (shopping excursions) I take the tent out and load up the gym bag.

For serious long distance month long rides, the roll down top 'dry' bags can't be beat.

I'm using a Nelson-Rigg Tail Bag.  Can't remember the model (it's the one seen here on my ZRX).

Great bag, holds a bunch of stuff, lots of compartments (which does reduce the overall capacity in the main compartment), built-in bungies, rain cover.  Oh yea, it also doubles as a nice lower back rest while on the road!
Does this mean we get a "Re-Do" on life too?

I guess it depends on how large of a tail bag you want and how much you want to carry. I have a smaller one than most have shown here but I like the looks of it. It stays on all the time and several others have asked me for the info on it so I Think there are others here with it also. It's a Fastrax Delux tail bag by Dowco item # 50109-00, it expands up wards and will hold a full face helmet.
