Radiator/cooler grille paint job

Painted the grille to freshen it up, what do you think?

did the same on my a5, painted grille gold to match pinstripe.

 Thanks for the reminder. My grill could really use a refresher coat or two.

Hi, rubbed down with wire brush attachment on a drill, when sound 3 Good coats of primer, then 2 good coats of automobile spray paint matched as close as i could get.. Then several coats of lacquer.

Painted the a5 gold 4years ago and it still looks like new.  8)

I really like how this looks.  But the angle of the first picture, and the lighter color, makes it look like there's a huge gaping area behind the front wheel.  I think you just kind of hit the one bad angle, as the second picture looks fantastic.  I'm tempted to do this, but in a color similar to the Nocturne Blue of my 06.  I'd rather have it blend in and be a more subtle accent.

But really, the likelihood of me ever actually doing it is pretty slim.  I can manage to put off procrastinating until tomorrow.

Great job, though.
