I haven't laughed that hard in a while. Thanks for that.
I believe humans are best observed from a safe distance.

And by the looks of it, exploding whales.

First time view for me. Very funny. I guess they should have cut it up and burned it...I guess. They sure do know what not to do with a beached whale in the future.

Should have put down a net, push the carcass into the net with a bulldozer and dragged it out to sea with a tug and let the sea do with it what it dose with all the other dead whales.

...and let the sea do with it what it dose with all the other dead whales.

So, you mean drag it out to sea so that it can drift back into shore and get beached again?...lol.

I'm no sailor, but I think you'd need a pretty significant sized boat to drag an 8 ton whale off the beach...a boat that size might be hard to come by in Southern Oregon....just sayin'...lol.

Those 20 cases of dynamite probably looked like an outstanding idea;).

Yesterday we had some down time at a business meeting out in Midland, Tx and I started describing this to the group. I had everybody cracking up. A little levity to lighten the mood. Good stuff.

Portland is a huge port, I've got to believe there are some tugs there. They tug much bigger boats then that whale. But I agree that until it's floating, getting it off the beach might be a bitch.
