Torque Cam install complete !!
« on: June 27, 2012, 02:02:38 PM »
Well after dragging my feet on doing Steve's Torque Cam install, I finally pulled the trigger and did it. The install
went very smooth. Steve's instructions were great as usual. After adjusting the valves and changing the main jets and doing a little break in, I took her for a little spin around the block. OMG !!! This thing is wicked fast !!!
The bike pulls like a monster from 2,000rpm and up. I can't keep my hand from twisting the throttle. Can't wait to get a dyno run on this thing and see just how much difference it made. I still have to do a little tuning on the air intake side but I can tell already this thing is going to be more fun than ever. Once again Steve in Sunny Florida has come up with another great product.

Sounds fun Jim.  So now your going to be a major contributor to the county revenue?   :rotflmao:

Have fun   Be sure to post up the Dyno report when you run it.   Sounds sweet!
Does this mean we get a "Re-Do" on life too?

Darn it Jim. Now how am I going to I keep up with you??
You can now  understand  how lucky we Floridians are to  be living so close to Steve.
As we speak Steve is working on my bike to get it go even faster and it is all your fault.

Ahhh, the SISF Connie 'arms' race is alive and well!

"Man, my buddy just got SISF's jet kit, and now his Connie is now running circles around mine, so I need to get SISF's cams to put him back in his place..."

We are fortunate indeed to have 'Steve the Lawnmower Mekanik' coming up with such great stuff for our Connies.  Even if the foam in the airbox thing seems counterintuitive to 'normal' folk!
