2009 Connie parts question
« on: May 23, 2017, 06:55:39 PM »
I just bought a 2009 Connie and it has a Russell Day Long seat.  Also has a trunk that mounts on rear of seat in place of the passanger seat.  Similar to a Corbin Smuggler but not as large.  It is color matched and is pretty sharp looking.  I have never seen this before and looked on Russell site and could not find it.  Even looked in gallery section and did not see one.  Could someone give me any info on it or tell me what it is worth.  I don't think I am going to use it and may put it up for sale.

Thanks for the complement, I like the looks of it for sure.  It was determined by gpink  seat is Russell and the storage pod is a Sargent. I just had never seem one and seat tag said Russell.

Yep, that is definitely a Sargent pod.  Never seen one combined with a Russell seat before.

Previous owner probably sent in his Sargent seat to RDL for customizing.  I had my Corbin modular front seat reworked by Seth Laam.  I use the Smuggler behind that.
09 Concours aka Cruncher: Corbin Canyon Dual Sport (Laam for longer trips, Corbin Modular with Smuggler for mid-length trips), Top Blocks, Penske 8983, Traxxion AK20s, Helibars Horizon ST bars w/Galfer SS +6 lines, MRA Vario Touring Windscreen/Madstad brackets (Copper Dawg on the way),  Area P full system, throttle tamer, Steve's Flash.
