Corbin Seat c14
« on: September 16, 2015, 05:28:54 AM »
For Sale: Corbin Seat. I bought it used from another member here.  Its not perfect.  Shows some wear, but is presentable.  No rips or tears just some wear on the leather.
Love the look of this seat but it just does not work for my butt. I have put maybe 1000 miles on it at most.
$300 shipped to ConUS.

The "standard" Corbin is a little lower than the stock C14's.

And just to make sure........ OP, the mounting bracket is also included, correct?

Sorry for the late reply. Not sure why I did get an email saying that you posted.

yes the standard hight is lower than the stock seat.

Yes the seat will come ready to put on your bike. Nothing else is needed.

I have no idea how much that would cost. As it's like $50 just to ship it in the US.

Hi

Having taken a guess at the size and weight when packed its going to cost £100 / $150 to ship to the uk.
If I am right in assuming you have allowed $50 in your price of $300 for shipping then the total cost to me will be $400 + import duty etc once it gets here.
If you are willing to ship to the UK I can organise it all from here, will just need them packed up and a few labels printing out and sticking on.
The £ is fairly strong at the moment so that's in budget, just......
I can pay you in $250 via paypal, and pay for the shipping from this side.

Let me know

Thanks

Richard

Richard. I have tried emailing you back a few times. I "think" the last one went through as it has not come back to me yet.
As I said in the email I'll get dimensions of the box and a weight to calculate shipping and we can go from there.

Anyone know what needs to be done to ship this over seas?

It's going to need a US Customs form filled out for sure and stuck to the box.  At least that's needed shipping USPS.  Not sure about the other shippers but I imagine it's the same.  Just walk into a Fedex or UPS store and ask them.

FedEx and UPS will likely incur brokerage and duty fees depending on country. Sometimes these fees can exceeded the cost of shipping but are typically the receiver's responsibility to pay.

I shipped some parts to Germany.  It was not a big deal.  You just have to fill out a form at the Post Office.  I used Paypal to collect the entire amount of the purchase and shipping and it went through without a problem.

I just sent you another email. Let me know if you got it or not.

It looks like I can get it into a box size 24" x 16" x 13" and it's going to weigh about 18 pounds.
