Announcing Over the Pond XII: 2013/2014

I received a note from Hans (OtP Boss, Great Poobah, His Magesty, King Tut,, whatever).

He has (finally) made his decision on Over the Pond XII.

He decided NOT to do an Over the Pond in 2013.....

Some of you might say,,,, Why did he do that?
The answer is EZ,,,
   Hans (OtP Boss, Great Poobah, His Magesty, King Tut,, whatever) has decide that "we" (Me and the other Slave Laborers)
   are going to do a Special Over the Pond in 2014. (to help celebrate COGs 25 year anniversary).

He wants to sent 2 Tarvelers Over the Pond!   
    1 will travel to Europe,,,,           
                     and
    1 will Travel to the USA to be at the 2014 COG National.

(( With proper planing (and a lot of luck), both will get to ride togeather on BOTH continents ))

I'll fill in the information as we develope the plan,
But for now,,, we need to hear from you.

We haven't had any very little feedback on our plans for Over the Pond XII.

Hans just typed up this note to put in the Concourier. (see below)

Over the pond 2013-2014 (OTP XII)
 
The OTP-team is now warming up to our new task - our aim is to have two travelers 2014 (we jump 2013)!
 
The OTP thing is a non COG event since 2002 - the instigator Hans-Ove Görtz #3465 from Sweden - have with
the OTP Team received support from COGgers and GCEers all the time. We have received pledges of total ~25.000 USD,
countless numbers of gas-fill-ups, B&B, bikes, riding companions, lunches and lately support from Big K twice (new GTR 1400).
 
Astonishing support!
 
This is due to our common motto to promote comraderie and "join for the bike - stay for the people".
 
The past travelers came from US, Canada, Germany, France, Netherlands, Austria.
In order to support the COG anniversary I have decided to work for two travelers 2014.
Due to that we can not organize a OTP for 2013.
Considering the strength of the OTP Team - we will concentrate on doing that by having a long preparation and pledge period.
 
The OTP 2014 have already started!

I am looking forward to 2014 "OTP"!!!  I like the plan.  I hope to see everybody (even Ted - evil grin) at the 2014 COG National and our COG friends that live "Over the Pond".

Oh, I plan to be there!     Idaho or Bust!!
Also,,,   I hope to be at 2013 National..

NOTE: We're currently talking with the COG Leaders about OtP 2014.
If all goes well, and "IF" Hans doesn't mess it up (again),,, I think weve found a better way for "OtP" to work with COG/GCE.

(Don't tell Hans I sed that).... He's been seen working on the Flog-O-Matic....
