Shameless Plug
« on: May 20, 2011, 06:02:37 AM »
My blog is about motorcycles and Life. It's found here:

http://www.behindbarsmotorcycle.com/

My brother called the other day.

“Hey, I'm going to Europe. Is there anything I should know?” he asked.

Chad wants my opinion because I'm the family 'expert.' I flew to Europe on two separate occasions, which makes me Magellan. Chad has traveled, when he was as a toddler, our dad drove the family to visit our grandparents in Mesa, Arizona. I think the 'active' pace of retirement-town living left a lasting impression on the boy. He's meticulous and slow to action. It's gained him the name 'Chops,' short for 'pussy chops.'

And yes, I do own an 09 Connie.

Cool Timalan. When you were researching which bike you wanted, or when you were planning a trip...?

researching what I wanted for website. But I may have to go back for the current trip that I am planning. Looks like some of the places I want to see are right there.

Well, hopefully some of it is interesting enough to read. If you have any questions about any of the places I've been I'm happy to share. Did you ever wind up making your own website?

One of the best blogs I've read was written by a young lady who rode her bike through the Chernobyl area.  She was familiar with the area before it was nuked, and she describes the after.  This was a few years and a few computers ago, and somewhere in time I lost the website.
'05 Concours, SISF's 2 min jet mod and exhaust cam sprocket, snarf's block off plates, risers, SS lines, fork brace, T-Cro's stick coils & shift linkage, ZZR1200 rear shock, MS rear wheel.

IIRC the website with the gal riding through Chernobyl was shown to be a fake.

I'd guess that is a Honda CL-350, maybe a 1969 vintage?

Just a WAG.

Bergmen, that one is a 360, I can't remember the year, but yeah, it's a CL - the scrambler model.

Thanks for reading. I appreciate you taking the time to check it out.
