calsci tinted shorty for a C14, SOLD
« on: October 11, 2011, 06:51:52 AM »
Came Off a 2009 C14 that had 1280 miles on it. Not sure how long the shield was on the bike.
I tinted my stock shield and like that better.
The CalSci shields is a tad bigger both directions. see info http://www.calsci.com/motorcycleinfo/Concoursprod.html
How's $85 shipped to the lower 48?

I'm possibly interested... a couple questions though.

In the 1st pic is that just an odd reflection or is it cut out on the one side?

On the 2nd pic is that in the up position or down?

Thanks bro.

Here's my guess:

1. That's a reflection of the background.
2. That's full up.

Nothing cut out of the shield. Nice catch didn't see that before. Not sure if that is full up or something else. The shield itself is about 1 inch taller than stock and about 1 inch wider. The bottom of the shield is cut a little different than stock. If you look on the calsci website you should see the differences. Hope that helps. I have a couple more pics if interested.

Since I have the same shield installed I can tell you that the second pic is full down.

The Calsci windshields definitely have a different "cut" to them in the front.

Good choice ZG. If you're not happy with your tint job then you can do as I did. Black out the stocker with the tint paint and then cut it down 3 or 4 inches and use it in the hot weather for more air.
