Sold: Corbin Seat for C14
« on: November 05, 2011, 03:40:51 PM »
I have a C14 Corbin seat for sale, total of about 900 miles on the seat. I bought it from another person on the forum to try, and my wife and I liked it so well, we’ve got a heated set on order.

$360 shipped.

Great deal. I am sure somebody will snatch that up!

I already have one or I would be getting it!

Looks nice, is that a boot mark across the front?

Seat is not yet sold. I'm going to pull it out of the box to look a look at the mark that So Cal Joe is asking about, and will update the thread later this morning.

I took some more pictures this morning, see below. I think that what So Cal Joe is asking about is circled in the new pictures.

I had the passenger seat sitting upside down the rider seat for about a week before taking the pictures. It looks like there might have been a pressure mark from where the front of the passenger seat was resting on the rider seat. It looks like this mark has pretty much reformed now. I'm adding another picture that shows similar pressure marks at the rear of the rider seat, where the passenger seat overlaps and rests.

Joe, if this isn't what you were referring to, let me know.

(Edited to get the right pictures on the post.)

Looking back at the original pics, it looks like there is something at the very bottom left of the seat in the first photo. That was something with the picture, here's another closer look at that spot.

Corbin's website lists the seat height at about 31.25, and I could tell that my legs were bent a bit more as compared to stock. For me, that wasn't a problem, but if you're on the edge already, this might be enough to push you over.

CB, Corbin seats do drop you about an inch from the stock seat when looking at the normal height. However, the stock seat is so soft, you may not notice any difference as the Corbin is a firmer seat that doesn't compress as much. In my mind, it gives you more room to move around in the seat because of the way it is dished out to fit the contour of the butt.
