1999 Kawasaki Comcours 1000
« on: December 03, 2019, 08:46:01 PM »
Hello everyone! So I was wondering what is the correct firing order for a ZG1000. If you were sitting on the bike I have the coil of the left going to cylinder 1 and 3 and the coil on the right is going to 2 and 4 is this correct because when it starts it backfires hard

I imagine the firing order is the same as the Concours 14 (except it has 4 coils), but you probably want to ask in the correct forum:

The left coil goes to, I believe, the #1 and #4 cylinders.  The right coil to #2 and #3.

Cylinders are numbered 1 - 4 from left to right.

Don't worry about the firing order, it takes care of it self as long as the coil wires are going to the right cylinder.

Firing order is 1-3-2-4 where 1 is the leftmost cylinder when sitting on the bike.
