I am a Transponder Battery Ninja! Few days ago I felt the need to get some Cr2025 batteries because I need 'em and don't have any. Today they arrived and I turned my bike on to get a, "Transponder Battery Low" message! Perfect timing!!!!

And you think that is a coincidence? Really? Do you not feel the invisible, subtle hand of the awesome power of KiPass anywhere in there?

That 'I felt the need.....' to get some batteries WAS KiPass acting proactively to prevent so much as the slightest inconvenience, while at the same time allowing you to use the entire charge of the previous battery! I cannot think of any other device anywhere on the planet that provides such wide ranging benefit to mankind.

Can you really believe that you 'felt the need' to get batteries, and the battery warning coming on just a few days later but perfectly timed could possibly all be coincidences?

Rode 200km in the rain to the town where I'll be starting a 1,000mile/24hr event and my Zumo died...

Will be relying on scratchings on a piece of paper instead...

Nope. I have the bathtub bars. It hit the right one and stuck. I looked down and it was looking at me with those beady little eyes. About a month ago one hit the rear bar. Same road.

Might be a subtle hint to quit taking that road.

Not gonna happen. Long ways around to work and it has curves. They are a rare commodity in ND. ;D

Hope I got em both. We have enough of those things ;) I do not know the proper species name. They are a gull of some sort. I just try to avoid them.

Today, I installed the Breakaway Throttle Lock that I got from 556ALPHA (who is a helpful, reasonable, great person). I liked the Throttlemiester that I had, but it was kinda dangerous for me when engaged. This solves those problems. Just wish they made a damn correct bracket for our C14 from the factory!

:)  I am glad it worked out for you Mike, thanks for the kind words.  I sold my C14 last year and bought it back this summer.  I decided to sell it again and the new owner flew up to Va from Ga last week to buy it.  I will not be buying it back again and will miss it.  I have enjoyed the forum and all the help it provided over the last 7 years.  I am going to wait a while and figure out what bike is best for me in retirement as that is just around the corner.
