New owner new to the forum Cincinnati
« on: April 23, 2016, 09:57:40 PM »
I just picked up my Connie today, this is my first. It's my third bike and third kawasaki. I have done alot of research online including this forum and I waited for the perfect deal. Found the green 2015 in Louisville and I called around my a month ago to make sure it was there and there wasn't a weird stipulation to the advertised price. I got it brand new for around the price several used ones in my area were going for so I am happy.

I have ridden for about 5 years now. Started with an MSF course and a kz440ltd. I tuned the bike up and customized it and actually sold it for a profit so there I was hooked. I bought a 750 Ltd afterwards that I still have it is about the same color as the new kawi

Thanks. I can't seem to get them uploaded on the phone, it only gives me the option to take a new picture. I will figure it out at work this week. Anyways I rode the bike over 100 miles the first day and I will be ordering lowering pegs and bar risers asap. I am disappointed a little with the windscreen I think it needs to be a half an inch taller maybe. The seat on the 2015 feels far superior to the 2011 I test rode as far as the OEM seat on the 2011 really crushed the boys

I did very little research, if any.  Bought it on the spot.  Got goosebumps looking at it.

Welcome to the forum, and congrats on your purchase. How's about a pic or two of your Connie?

Welcome. My friend and myself both live in Cincinnati and both have Connies, we just did a ride to the Iron Pony today

I just went to IRON PONY for the first time a week ago, I will definitely ride there next time now that I have a highway bike. IT IS WORTH THE TRIP, I got 3 different pairs of gloves a hat and a sticker for like $50. And my fiance got a name brand helmet for an off brand price  8)

You can see the color is pretty close to my old bike. The honda is just something cool I saw at the dealership

I left Cinci many years ago on a Honda ST1100. Got back home to Colorado and bought a C14. Best trade I ever made.

Welcome. Your post reminded me of all the hours I spent wandering all over Kentucky.

Clicking noises when releasing the brake lever? Normal! 8)
