Alex, after all that work to bring it back I sure hope you can enjoy it for awhile.

Oh, I am planning to ride the **** out of the bike... I am surprised how good it is. I expected much worse. This bike rocks

you might have already mentioned this, but what tires are you using? they tend to transform this bike (and most other vehicles, too)...

Currently is what bike came with... Missmatched and cupped B-Stone / Michelin combo... Actually going to throw a new B-Stone 023 on it today. It will just make the bike even better. Like I said, I am impressed on how this one rides.... I had over 50 bikes in the past years

I just want to burn up the front which is good, and then go with a new set. Rear is completely toast. Probably will put Angels GT's once B-Stones are done

Stone on the rear is tolerable, on the front it's a sacrilege.  ;)

I actually don't mind the front as it is now. But I don't have anything else on that bike to compare with. Rear was shot from the get go. So a new tire was a must

Well, I can only compare to the PR4GT, and it is a very significant positive difference...
Shoodaben (was Guhl) Mountain Runner ECU flash, Canyon Cages front/rear, Helibars risers, Phil's wedges, Grip Puppies, Sargent World seat-low & heated & pod, Muzzy lowering links, Soupy's stand, Nautilus air horn, Admore lightbar, Ronnie's highway pegs, front running lights, all LED, helmet locks, RAM Xgrip, Sena SMH10, Throttle Tamer, MRA X-Creen, BearingUp Shifter, PR4-GT, Scorpion EXO-T1200,etc

FWIW, I sell Triumphs, and The Tiger 800's are really cool rides.  DO an XC, if you spend most time off pavement, otherwise, the std Tiger is the one to have.  A roadster, with a real attitude is what you will have.  ENJOY,  tomp

How difficult is to convert a regular 800 to a XC? I see better deals on regular 800's more often, but I really want a XC

IMHO, not worth the money to do so..  Gotta change suspension, wheels hubs, etc,   Seriously, unless you are going to spend most of your time off pavement, the XC isn't actually an improvement on pavement. 

14's are available now, and deals may be made available, but with the '15 Tigers, we have no pricing yet. So if you really want a Tiger, grab one now, either version.  I feel sure the prices will only rise.  Only the Speed and Street Triples stayed close to '14's prices.  All others went up $100-500, when on the floor of your dealer.  Just decide what fits your riding requirements and go with that.  tp   Hope that helps.  tp
