Sold the ZX-14 slip-ons
-
Interested, PM'd you some Q's on this.
-
i think JD is looking for this.
do you have to get rid of the center stand to do this?? ( i think you do but....)
-
The centerstand will have to be extended on the left side, where you step on it to put the bike up on the centerstand.
The left mid pipe crosses where the centerstand arm is currently.
I have the sidestand and mount from a ZX-14 which relocates this to clear the left pipe better (not required but helpful).
I do not have a left side muffler hanger, the slip-on has a mount included, your will need to add a hanger (Muzzy sell one)
I really hate to sell this but I have 7 bikes in the garage (2 projects that I need to finish and sell) and would rather not sit on this project.
I have the right side slip-on installed on my C-14 see below. More pictures available just ask!! :D

I bought the stock ZX-14 header from a 2010, and a pair of Carbon Fiber Muzzy slip-ons ($800 on EBay)
I have the ZX-14 kickstand also.
I had planned on installing this to my C-14 BUT its time to ride not Wrench!!
Located near StLouis Mo.
Asking $500 for everything!!! I may even help you install for the right customer!!
I hate myself ;D but if you still have this in two weeks, we will probably be dealing, but I doubt you will still have it at that price
-
Probably kick myself later for not taking these now since this is a GREAT DEAL but they're still available! :banghead:
-
COG I still have it!
Let me know, if you need it shipped, I will start working that direction.
Probably need 2 boxes ::)

Might know it, I just got an IRS bill for $400 for back taxes >:(
If you still have it Jun 10th we can probably still do a deal, but of course if someone comes along sell it.

If I can convince my wife to let me spend the money I will be making a trip to STL. I just spent $650 on tires for the family vehicle and $500 on tires for my C14 so that I can finish out the rest of the summer without buying any more, so it might be a tough task for me. Wish me luck.........

BUMP We leave for MSTA Star rally next week!!

KB ... you still have this stuff? PM'd you ... no response.
Plus, do you have the left side midpipe?
Lemme know.
-
I contacted Muzzy. They said their slip on mufflers will not fit the ZX14 stock header. Not sure we are talking about the same/same deal here, but if Muzzy's mid pipe won't fit the stock header, then this system won't work. ??
-
Used too. It may be as simple as the thicknes of the graphite gasket.
-
FYI - The Muzzy website says otherwise...they actually make a couple different style slip-on cans that fit standard ZX-14 headers...Could not imagine that they would not. I have a D and D dual setup on my '09, and they look and sound awesome. In addition to the extension of the centerstand pedal, I also have a separate bracket that bolted to the right side to catch the centerstand, since there was no tang on the pipe itself. Good luck!

Thanx. I tho't Muzzy's response a bit odd myself.
