Title: Bikes down, but not out.
Post by: anycleavers on July 16, 2011, 05:59:57 PM
Waiting for a throttle cable, just ordered it from Murphs. Now I get to drive my old E250 work van, no air, back and forth to work in the coming heat wave. No joy there, that's for sure. Maybe I need a spare bike for times like these.  ;)

Murph won't make you wait long.  There are lots of cheap commuter bikes out there, maybe you should pick up a naked sport bike for the hot days, or the rare break down events.

I keep several extras on hand, just in case.   ::)

Always on my bike, spare throttle cable, spare j-box, spare fuses, any item that I replaced unexpectedly. I had a C10 for four years never had to drive anything else when I needed to ride the bike.

The few times I ordered from Murphs, it was lightning fast, so I shouldn't be down for long. Took the old one out yesterday, not a lot of room down there, is there?

Maybe I should have ordered 2.
