North Al
Been riding bikes since 1973.  Lots of touring experience in SE US in the 80s on GS850 Suzuki.
Been doing YZ/WR250F dirt bikes the last 10 years, but when these came up, I had to snap them.

Have 86 C10 project I got for 500.  Only has 5K miles
Just bought 99 C10 project for 700.  Oh man, it has 55K miles but runs great.

The 86 has engine knock and I'm prepping it to pull and diagnose.
The 99 has a broken left peg, broken fairing, and broken clutch lever.
Already replaced the easy parts using the 86 parts so I could ride it; and it runs great.

So if any of you have the left foot peg bracket with peg, and a clutch lever to spare, let me know.
Prob gonna get a Michelin Commander II for rear of the 99 tomorrow.  I hear they give good results.

Also could use a left side luggage mount.
Really appreciate a link to an on-line owner's manual for the 99.
L8tr, Ron

Wishing you best of luck with sourcing spares and rebuilding the Connies.

Welcome  :chugbeer:  to the forum Ron!!! Make sure the engine knock isn't anything more than the cam chain. Mine sounded really, really bad, the dealer tore it apart under warranty & that's what it turned out being.

Thanks.  Wish thats what it would turn out to be.  Now that I have some parts I can swap out to check, I can get back to working on that one.  I researched it years ago when I acquired it, and I remember doing a check on that and it turned out not to be that.  Will report back in separate thread.
