I remember it being "most of the time" but not all the time. Geez that was a long time ago.

My mom gave me one bit advice years ago.

I didn't listen, but I did marry her first.

That's a BIG premie! We had one too but he was just under 5 lbs. My wife had an appendicitis in her 7.5 month. Her appendix burst on the operating table.  :o

Yeah, our oldest was a premie just like yours.......7lbs 6oz.  It's how I keep track of which anniversary were on.

My oldest 10 was a premie at 7.7 3 weeks and 6 days early. my other 3 were 10.2, 9.13, and 9.6 all taken 1 week early C-style.
Favorite advice type line was
"I taught you everything I know and we are still stupid."
