C10 Fork brace
« on: May 14, 2011, 05:39:30 PM »
Someone had a KB fork brace advertised for $50 but I don't remember who it was.  I had replied in that thread that I would like to buy it, then the crash came.  So, if the seller still has the brace I would still be interested.  PM me if you would.

Was this for a C-10? Does someone even make one for the C-14?

C10.  C14 doesn't use a 'fork brace'.

It was me.  It was for a 98 and earlier.  pm for details.  I also have the entire rest of the 98 front end, a set of 86 handlebars, the stock rear, an extra stock rear rim, and an extra set of rotors with gold centers.

Nuts!  I thought it was for the later forks with the machined top.  I've got a 2000 so I don't think it will work.  Unless I'm mistaken about the years the forks changed I think I'm out.

You are correct.  98 and earlier are different.

By chance do you still have the fork brace for sale?  Starting my winter mods on the new bike and a front end overhaul is part of the list.

I'll send a PM just in case
