Title: Hello from Canada
Post by: brant bandit on February 21, 2015, 02:44:22 PM
Hello from Canada! I just got back into riding last year after 18 years away.....still not sure how I convinced my wife to let me get another bike but she also increased my life insurance  :o

In 1996 I wrote off my trusty FJ1200 in what was not a serious accident but bent the frame and cracked the block.....anyway, a silver Bandit called my name last year and I realized how much I missed riding. So, I just pulled the trigger on a leftover 2014 Connie and can't wait till spring to take delivery.

I'm also active on the COG forums.

Any other Canadians here?

Cheers!
Pat

Like I've said many times, what could be better than beer, hockey, beer, bacon, beer, moose, beer, ice, beer, and snow, hic...eh?

Welcome to the site. I just joined as well; my name is also from a Bandit. I had a 2001 1200S and I really liked it. If you know a little Canadian history you will know where the Bytown comes from.

I bought my C14 last year and enjoyed everything about the bike last season and I'm looking forward to 2015.

Enjoy and once spring comes ride safe.

Bytown Bandit.
