........and there she goes X2

(1/1)

KawaC14:
After I bought my new to me used 2012 cherry condition C14 I took her out to get use to her. The absolutely fastest thing I have driven to date. WOW. About week in, as my "get the feel for her" rides progressively got longer, feeling pretty good, yeah, real nice. Pulled into a gas station in good 'ole Tallahassee Florida. Didn't notice the difference in the parking lot grade as it went from concrete at the pump to asphalt just a couple of feet away. Put the kick stand down, both feet still down. Pulled my gloves off, went to my left leg, leaned over just a tad to get my wallet and......over she went. Yes it was still daylight, late afternoon and very crowded. All i could do was throw my glove down and say.....WTF! A couple of guys came over. I mean as fast as a pit crew! One put his hand on my shoulder and comforted me. They helped me get her back up. Super nice. The same guy said "its not bad, just scratched it a little" Super nice guys. Didn't help my ego.

Number two. From a stop in a right turn on a sloping road. Stall.....over she went. I almost stopped her but didnt quite do it. AH, but this time I had already put some cages and bag guards on, not a scratch. Didn't help my ego.

I've put 9000+ miles on her since and not another drop. Doesn't help my ego.

She is a fickle beast, but I still love her........my bike too.

Keep it in this range, and you won't have a problem.

KawaC14:
Well you know there is no gravity.....the Earth sucks.
I do try to stay in that range as much as possible! 8)
