Hi folks,
Happy to find such a community on the net, thanks for having welcomed me.
I am the new owner of an old Connie 10: I just bought this nice black with a red line 1992 Concours (or GTR as we call her in Europe), 71000 km, seemingly in good condition... but who knows, since I could hardly drive it because of Coronavirus.
I am 57 and live in Burgundy and Italy, I am married and also have a Yamaha 500 SR and a Yamaha 250 WRF.
Next summer: bike trip with my friends and Connie in Auvergne, in the center of France!
Anybody riding in France will be welcome home for a stopover.

I wish my legs were long enough to ride a Yami' Wr250F, even the WR250R was too tall for me. I loved riding it but as soon as I stopped,
it was like being high centered on a picket fence.

Very clean, very pristine, how many KM's?
You make a nice red wine in Burgundy, I will be right over ;)
Do you live outside the city limit?
What does the cross ("+") near the door in picture number two mean?
How old is the house?
Do you live there, or just store your GTR there?

Rick, the "cross" is a wall tie or wall brace used to stop the walls from bowing out. There is a stud that goes through it with a big nut and the stud will go right through and out the opposite wall where there will be another "cross". They are fairly common on older buildings here. There is a wide variety of types available, but the cross is the simplest and cheapest.

In my neck of the woods you typically see stars instead of crosses anchoring the outside walls of the older buildings.
