Look up Susan's Fish and Chips. In Portland on RT 302 ( Forest Ave. and StevensAve) Good fried food. Also check out the Old Port. Near the waterfront. Nice area. Especially if looking for bars. I love Portland. I grew up in that perfect size of a city.

Thanks for the great advice, I ate there and it was EVERYTHING you said it was!

Was GREAT meeting BDF and his lovely wife....   AND KIRBY TOO!

I'm in Atlantic City last night/today/tonight rolling some dice and clothes shopping and still eating coastal foods. I got here in the wee hours last night after a 800 mile day that started in Maine and included a night ride around NYC

Maine was none other than GREAT. Went south from there. BDF met me spur of the moment and had a GREAT time riding with him and his lovely wife in Rhode Island, can't beleive how nice that place it. Also we went to Mystic, CT its a crazy town, and hit NYC on the way through because the Connie had never been there.

Staying in Trump Tower and will catch up on a few pics tonight, and will be getting back on a twisty path tomorrow heading southwest out ofNew England from here!

Great meeting you too Steve. Kirby can't stop talking about it but then again, it was his first time out of state. Now there are at least a few people in CT who have been either a little shocked or outright offended by either Kirby or Mr. Elkhoof.

An elk's front hoof and lower leg: free (thanks again Chet!)
Webbing to attach it to the bike: $7.00
The look on people's faces when they see it: priceless

Glad you had a good time and a decent meal here in little Rhody.

We have a few photos but they are on Andrea's camera so they will have to wait until tonight or tomorrow night. And you have the photo of Kirby in that special tourist spot (the waitress probably still has not recovered).

Glad you enjoyed it. I love a place where the owner is almost always in their store. She has been there since around 1986-87.

Catch up some crazy pics-

Catfish my nephew caught in the Catskills

Back roads to Montreal (from Catskills through these moutains)

Canada - Friend in Montreal I visited has quite the car collection and lifts installed in his garages. A new viper is his every day driver. I liked his white GT500, its his weekend car and he's done a ton of mods to it.  He also has a stock one with 21 miles on a lift that he said will never see the street, and he has a Z06 Vette that he said isn't much fun to drive compared to the other cars and he's about to sell it. I took a few phone pics

Vermond, NH, Maine - Ate at a lobster shack in the cool brisk ocean breeze upper Maine after visiting Montreal and motorcyling the beautiful mountains of Vermont and New Hampshire. Another check mark on my bucket list!

This was at Boothbay Harbor

This was a shack in town (Portland), suggested by our forum bud and he was spot-on!!!

Rhode Island-

I met KIRBY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   I can't thank Brian and his lovely wife enough for the wonderful dinner/ride/hanging out

Geez I never knew Rhode Island was so incredible, I didn't see a dull spot anywhere.
Quaint lighthouse, I hit the wrong parts (and not enough!) of US1 in Maine didn't see any

Ct- We rode to "Mystic Pizza"!  They exploained to me the movie plays over and over in there but no sound.

I need my pro cam for high night ISO and blur prevention. Talk about a non-stop butt burner....  Brain and the KiPass proven bike

NYC/NJ-  got to Atlantic City in the middle of the night after riding NYC. So far I'm up on these Casinos

Ona  scale of 1-10 of Casinos I've stayed at in Vegas, this one in NJ ranks about a 7.  Although i like the bathroom colors and stuff that matches

I stayed here an extra day but I'm rolling in the AM.  No clue where but it'll be towards mountains =)

You really got around. Holy crap!
The yellow car on the lift-Is it an updated Cobra? I can't quite tell. I love the Viper too.

He sure did meet Kirby and he also met Mr. Elkhoof besides! A banner day. It was a big day for Kirby too- for the very first time, he rode out of state and got to visit Mystic Pizza. My. Elkhoof has been all across the country via motorcycle and even a short ride on a tow truck but Kirby just is not well traveled.

I think we have a photo of Steve and Kirby around here somewhere but I can't find it at the moment. Will post it later when I do find it.

Yeah I can't stress how vivid and alive that Kirby is. And when THREE (yes three) FOBs were having their pic taken in the restaurant I could've sworn I heard Kirby out on the bike screaming MERCYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY  :D

Here's a few more pics. After the trip I went down to Naples for a few days...forgot to post up last few BS snapshots!

What do I like so much about BAT CAVE NC???

I like the fact all the locals roads rock without such as the tail of dragon hosts as of past couple of years (hardley-ablesons, car clubs, squids, tourists, etc)

The low-carb NC apples are great

Dunno wtf this thing was.

And last day in the mountains I saw the mountains and the sea in the same day, hello Tybee Island GA/Atlantic Ocean

12 hours in the saddle - and the sun set in the low country as I moved on past the beach and towards a friends house =)
